Zimbabwe Traffic Rules Explained

The rules the test actually asks

The provisional paper is not a history of the Road Traffic Act. It asks what you do in the next five seconds. Keep left. Indicate before you move. Give way when a sign, a light, a marking or the layout says someone else goes first. Do not overtake into danger. Do not park on a crossing. Stop for pedestrians who are using a crossing.

Each of those has a page. The diagrams are the same rules drawn from above. If you can say the rule, you can answer the picture.

Signs beat habit

The general give-way-to-the-right rule applies where the junction is unsigned and the roads are equal. A stop sign, a yield sign, a traffic light or a police officer replaces it. Candidates fail by applying "priority from the right" on top of a stop sign, or by ignoring the right-hand car because they arrived first at an unsigned crossroads.
